Worship Choir: Ages 18 and up - Rehearsal every Wednesday 6:30- 8:00 pm in the choir room (lower level adult wing).
Senior Adult Choir: Ages 55 and up – Rehearsal every Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the Adult 7 SS Department.
Childrens’ Choirs (during the school semesters):
- Preschool Choir: Ages 4 and 5
- Music Makers: Grades 1-3
- Young Musicians: Grades 4-6
Adult Handbell Choir: Auditioned group, meets every Wednesday at 5:30 pm in the choir room (lower level adult wing).
Worship Orchestra: 8th grade and up. Rehearsal every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the worship center.
Music Ministry Schedule:
The scripture admonishes us to “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God”. The music ministry at Immanuel seeks to provide opportunities for everyone to participate. There are numerous opportunities for adults and children to participate in the music activities of the church.
Some of our organized musical groups include: children's choirs, youth choir, adult choir, senior adult choir, handbell choir, orchestra, and vocal ensembles. The adult Worship Choir presents the annual Living Christmas Tree every year in December. Our worship services include a blend of contemporary and traditional music. Whether you like to sing or play, sing hymns or praise and worship music, are young or old, we have a place for you. We invite you to come and share in this wonderful ministry of serving our Lord through music.
